Champagne

In the far North of the Champagne region, 4km north west of the city of Reims, is the village of Pouillon, where the Champagne House of Bourdaire-Gallois is located.

This family owned Champagne House has been producing Champagnes since 1954 when the grandfather of David Bourdaire began growing the Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay vines and using the local Co-Operative as a means to press their Grapes.

Following in the family tradition, David was given some Vineyards by his parents and he and his wife created the Bourdaire-Gallois label. David and his parents own 7.73 hectares of Vineyards between themselves and sell 65,000 bottles of Champagne each year. The Champagne produced by Bourdaire-Gallois reflects a producer, with three generations of experience to call upon, whose enthusiasm and dedication to his craft is second to none.
